Borders Farmer Benefits from Clean Grazing
Here's a great wee video insight into how Borders farmer Charley Walker has successfully introduced a clean grazing policy to reduce worm burden on his farm, Barnside near Duns. Use of a clean grazing system (an approach originally devised by SRUC) allows Charley and his wife Andrea to get all their lambs finished and off-farm by 1 November with just a single anthelmintic treatment at weaning. Other benefits include improvement in growth rates and reduced risk of the flock developing anthelmintic resistance. Scotch Beef Sampling in Greater London

The 21 day tour of Tesco stores in July and August has been very well received by consumers, with many stores selling out of product during the sampling days.
