QMS is committed to working with a wide variety of stakeholders to help Scotland’s red meat industry grow, thrive and deliver excellent products in a number of ways. From the magnificent retailers, butchers and restaurants who provide customers with excellent eating experiences, to the suppliers and exporters who are responsible for making Scotch Beef, Scotch Lamba and Specially Selected Pork available in a vast array of markets – QMS’ role is to equip them with the materials, information and support they need to effectively perform their vital roles in the supply chain.
Scotch Butchers Club
We have over 250 members of the Scotch Butchers Club; like-minded, forward thinking independent high street butchers who source premium, quality assured meat. We provide seasonal marketing packs and recipe guides and host knowledge transfer days such as farm and livestock auction visits for our butchers. We also provide additional marketing assets and tools to help independent butchers run their businesses profitably. Weekly communications also offer advice on topical issues and provide up to date market information and analysis.
Scotch Beef Club
Our Scotch Beef Club officially re-launched in 2023. Any restaurant that serves our premium quality Scotch red meat can join and benefit from our marketing campaigns to promote Scotch beef, lamb and Specially Selected Pork. The Scotch Beef Club aims to promote the virtues of our quality Scotch meat to chefs and restaurateurs, and provide added value with activities such as knowledge transfer days farm and processor visits.
Approved Retailers
Our red meat products are stocked by all major retailers in the UK. We work with retail partners to align promotional activity and promote Scotch product ranges both instore and online.
Exports
Red meat from Scotland is exported all over the world because it rightly holds the reputation as being premium meat you can choose with total confidence – every time. Our reputation for the very finest beef, lamb and pork is second to none and our farmers are passionate about protecting this reputation.
